About The Cow Palace

The Cow Palace was started in 1972 by Bob Dolsen and his son, Bill Dolsen, when they purchased land in Zillah, Washington that became home to 400 cows. The dairy is still owned and operated by the Dolsen family and is now home to 7,000 milking cows.

The dairy produces 450,000-500,000 pounds of Grade A milk daily, which became 60,000 gallons of Darigold milk every day. In addition to the Grade A milk, the Cow Palace also sells organic compost off the dairy.

The dairy is a 24 hour a day operation. The Cow Palace is proud to be part of the Lower Yakima Valley community and we take every measure possible to make sure that we are good stewards of the land and cattle, as well as being friendly neighbors to those that live around us.
